1.5 stars. Ugh, no. I thought it might have been fun from the summary, but instead it was this clicheé, eye-roll inducing, annoying thing that never seemed to end. I didn’t like Harlow at all, finding him to be a selfish ass. The meet-cute obsession he had made me cringe. I felt bad for Teddy, who deserved better but was mostly a doormat. It was all utterly predictable. “Laugh out loud moments”? More like loud exclamations of “are you kidding me???” whenever it took the next stupid turn.

This author has been a hit or miss for me from the start, but unfortunately more on the miss side lately. It’s probably going to be a while until I dare to pick up another one because this one really put me off.

I hated Harlow.

Harlow is obsessed with rom coms and wants to meet the love if his life in a drastically cheesy way. It doesn't matter that his best friend is sexy, attentive, and tragically one-sidedly in love with him. I wanted to like this. I waited and waited for Harlow to stop being a jerk and stringing a lovesick Teddy around, but alas no moment of redemption arrived. Teddy fell in love with a jerk and ended up with a jerk- the end. Since I don't like jerkfaces I didn't really enjoy any of the hotter scenes despite KMN's impeccable creativity and eloquence. This is the first KMN book I didn't love. I feel blindsided.

Ughhhhh I wanted to throttle Harlow the entire time. Teddy should’ve gone to New York.

Harlow wants to find the love of his life but is going about it all wrong but it’s a little bit on purpose (even if he doesn’t realize it). Teddy has been watching him go through these crazy schemes for years all while worrying that someday Harlow may actually meet his leading man. I loved their friendship and how much they care about each other and I know that’s what scared Harlow the most. Their hastily made friends with benefits agreement turned into everything either could have ever hoped for, even if one of them didn’t realize it at the time.

I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review

Here we have this one guy who tries to find the love of his life through a meet cute moment. Turned out he already had the perfect meet cute but never realized that.

Teddy is his best friend who secretly crushed on him for years. One day in the spur of the moment they decide to become friends with benefits and that’s were everything starts to get complicated.

I love Teddy he is a freaking cinnamon roll and he very much cares for Harlow. As for Harlow I was quite annoyed with him because he was so damn oblivious about Teddys feelings and couldn’t see for the longest time that he had the perfect man right on front of him.

I was so freakin happy when they finally had their HEA, even though I wish it wouldn’t have been on the cost of Teddys career. Honestly I wish the author would chosen a different way here.

Overall this was cute and I enjoyed reading it.

This was just okay for me.

I LOVED Teddy. He was so damn sweet. But Harlow kind of annoyed me the whole time. I did like the re-creation of popular meet-cutes but I wish Harlow realized how perfect Teddy was waaaay sooner.
