We decided to read this book based off of a TikTok review that said the MMC was like Zade from Haunting Adeline. That review was a lie.
This man, Rowdy, was a bully. He used brute force when anyone pissed him off for any reason, and it was not cute. Like you could tell this man his shoe was untied and he’d get mad and beat the shit out of you for just because. Not the look.
Atlas, the FMC, was a very young and naive girl who decided that Rowdy was her man based off of a 20 year old photo. She didn’t have very many great qualities and fell in love with this man who bullied the fuck out of her. Also he was 16 years older than her but acted like a child.
ALSO, the whole he could be her dad (literally they were waiting on a DNA test) but they still loved each other and maybe will fuck part? That’s a no from us y’all. And to know that he used to fuck her mom? Hard pass.
We’re giving this book two stars because the threesome scene was kinda hot (until the pee, that was also a hard no).

Rowdy is stronger than many twice her age, so it’s only fitting that her partner should be able to withstand any and every thing thrown at him (especially by Rowdy).
When BB said the book would deal with gray areas, she certainly wasn’t lying!
In The Gray is hot, so very unlike other books, complicated and worth the time waited.

This book was soooooo gooooodddd!!! The way Rowdy didn’t play about Atlas was so sexy. I love the way they both broke each other down but in a good way. Then when the plot twist hits I thought I was gonna throw up!!!!!!!!
This book took possessiveness to a whole new level. There were parts that made me laugh and question why I thought their toxic relationship was cute but all in all enjoyed it.
