Worth the wait!
Rowdy is the devil in disguise! I hated this man through the first 50% of the book. He was mean, demanding and ruthless. The way he treated Atlas had me fumming.
Atlas is a unique character. I fell for her pretty fast. Shes strong, mouthy and naughty! She doesn't take crap from anyone.
Their story is unconventional but incredibly intense.
Reid may have made us wait but it was sooo worth it!

Steamy as all hell. The plot twist will leave you questioning what your ethics are, because you want to keep supporting the main characters. Read it in a day, enthralling, sexy read.

I haven’t felt this way since Cassandra Clare thought incest as a subplot was a good idea.
What in the mortal instruments is this? Why are people still writing incest subplots with no warning? DNF immediately because that was absolutely unnecessary. And the way the characters handled it? Nah. And Rowdy’s abusive ass causally justifying him putting hands on Atlas and her just taking it? Literally getting choked out, being fearful, then saying he would never hurt me? I can’t. The absurdity of it all was just too much. Hard pass. The book was fine without that bs. What a waste of writing and my time.

This is truly one of my five star books of the year. BB did a great job of truly embodying the Bullie romance. At first, I thought it was more enemies to lovers, but the history and backstory of this plot truly made it some thing lovely to read. The age gap was enough to potentially throw me off, but I realized, it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. I love that you were able to flip this trope of “Dad’s best friend” on its head and still make it something to want to read. This is my first instance with this author, but I quickly came to find out. This is not even her most popular story. This has me even more excited to read “Lilac”. Thanks for the lovely introduction and I can’t wait to read even more.
I do advise anyone planning to read this book to take heed of the trigger warnings in the beginning. This was almost 4 stars for me, but the age gap got me & I couldn't move past it. It wasn't the year gap that got me, but the age of the FMC.
Overall, this is a fun, nasty, messy, ghetto ass time. If you like toxcity, Atlas & Rowdy will definitely provide that for you. I will probably tell my friends that enjoy a bit of mess to give this book a read!

Some drama in books just don’t be needed.
The book was already dramatic cause everybody was irrational but yes let’s throw in a dramatic ass plot twis that really PISSSSEDD ME OFF!
I mean I was ready to give this book 4⭐️s then here comes the bullshit. Then had the nerve to rush the ending
Girl not in the mood hang up on you

I'm currently at chapter 12 and pretty confused as to how they're suddenly liking eachother and willing to risk their lives for one another.
I also hate the age gap! Atlas does not even act like a 19 year old and it just makes Rodwy look like a creep for lusting after a baby.
DNF at chapter 39. Rowdy is very unlikeable. Not only does he lust after a teenager. Someone he thought was even a minor in the beginning. He is now also lusting after his child.
Atlas on the other hand is not properly disgusted by the idea that her boyfriend could be her father
Furthermore there were a lot of loose subplots that did not get properly explored.
Atlas started of with a personality but lost it along the way.
Also I didn't understand the build up of their relatioship. They had nothing in common except sex.
Graphic: Sexual violence, Violence
Loved this book! More like a 3.5star read for me. The age gap tho…. Made me a little uncomfortable tbh lol BB could have made her at least like 22-23, so she was at least legally able to drink and go out and shit. I felt like 19 with a 35 year old was pushing it. Anyways, BB WTF was that girl???? That plot twist LITERALLY made my stomach drop and scream NO!!!! Out of all the plot twists in the world, you had to pick that one ???? No, but overall loved the story. Rowdy is WILDDD and i loved every second of his mean ass. I now need Ruen’s story.
Omg! Rowdy and Atlas literally had me on the edge of my SEAT! I LOVED every minute of this book! This was the definition of black dark romance and it was SPECTACULAR! The angst, the spice, the plot! Freaking awesome! BB never missed and I’m glad i got to read this! Can’t wait to read more! Atlas is definitely my favorite! Rowdy is a lil rough but he still got me in the end lol! I love them together!
