I'm currently at chapter 12 and pretty confused as to how they're suddenly liking eachother and willing to risk their lives for one another.
I also hate the age gap! Atlas does not even act like a 19 year old and it just makes Rodwy look like a creep for lusting after a baby.
DNF at chapter 39. Rowdy is very unlikeable. Not only does he lust after a teenager. Someone he thought was even a minor in the beginning. He is now also lusting after his child.
Atlas on the other hand is not properly disgusted by the idea that her boyfriend could be her father

Furthermore there were a lot of loose subplots that did not get properly explored.
Atlas started of with a personality but lost it along the way.
Also I didn't understand the build up of their relatioship. They had nothing in common except sex.

Loved this book! More like a 3.5star read for me. The age gap tho…. Made me a little uncomfortable tbh lol BB could have made her at least like 22-23, so she was at least legally able to drink and go out and shit. I felt like 19 with a 35 year old was pushing it. Anyways, BB WTF was that girl???? That plot twist LITERALLY made my stomach drop and scream NO!!!! Out of all the plot twists in the world, you had to pick that one ???? No, but overall loved the story. Rowdy is WILDDD and i loved every second of his mean ass. I now need Ruen’s story.

Omg! Rowdy and Atlas literally had me on the edge of my SEAT! I LOVED every minute of this book! This was the definition of black dark romance and it was SPECTACULAR! The angst, the spice, the plot! Freaking awesome! BB never missed and I’m glad i got to read this! Can’t wait to read more! Atlas is definitely my favorite! Rowdy is a lil rough but he still got me in the end lol! I love them together!

This is a freaking rollercoaster! It's a dark age-gap romance with intense chemistry and crazy twists. I devoured this book in a day. Atlas is a badass, and Rowdy is a total playboy, but together they're explosive. The banter between them had me glued to the pages. Warning, though, there are some uncomfortable scenes so might not be for all readers. But damn, this book was thrilling, messy, and totally addictive. If you're into dark romance, you gotta check it out!

The age gap was a bit much for me and the MMC was very aggressive lol but interesting and entertaining read. For my first BB Reid book wasn’t bad.

2/5 - When I finished this book, I wasn’t going to write a review and just let it be, however, after I sat and thought about it, I had to say something.
I can’t put into words how repulsed I was reading this book. I felt like I was reading a bad adaptation of Demon’s Dream, but on crack. Clearly, the author was inspired by the book but failed miserably. I couldn’t get past the age difference between Atlas and Rowdy because it truly felt like incest. But incest was a subplot of the book. Go figure!!

I read the author’s acknowledgements at the end to see WTF was she thinking when she wrote this story and she gushed about how much she loved Rowdy’s character! Girl what??!! He was an immature, terroristic, predator! I did not like his character at all, because there was no true reason as to why he was such an a$$hole! I had more questions than answers when I finished this book.

Everything doesn’t have to be published and this is one book that could’ve stayed in the drafts.

From the very beginning this stroy drw me in. The mystery surrounding who Atlas is and how she is connected to Rowdy and this town kept me captivated. Thier burgoning relationship, the push and pull made it hard to put the book down. This read will have you picking you jaw up off the floor. I was not expecting it to be what it was and it was a first for me but I would do it all over again.

I went into this fairly blind and now I want to scrub my eyes with bleach after finishing it.

I'm all for age gaps. I love me some bad, dangerous men. But this girl found out she may have been fucking her dad, kept on kissing and fucking him and then peed on him BEFORE EVEN GETTING THE PATERNITY TEST BACK. I can't. I just can't. I thought I had no icks but apparently ignoring possible incest is a BIG ONE
