This book is for the bold readers. The I know it’s messy, but I can’t stop reading type of bold. With a huge age gap, trauma triggers, and a relationship that that exists in the space between right and wrong, this story doesn’t tiptoe around the line, it runs across it barefoot and all. Owen... LORD! He wasn’t safe and had many questionable morals, but his stroke game had me reconsidering everything.
The world was solid, the writing pulled me in, and the plot gave just enough chaos to keep me engaged without going off the rails. The romance is definitely not sweet or soft, but emotionally raw. As for the spice, lets just say that it’s respectfully unhinged.
But in all what really stayed with me was Reid’s final note.“Love doesn’t always appear black and white. It gets messy, it gets gray, and sometimes it will even make you abandon your morals completely. I hope we’re all lucky enough to find someone we’re willing to let the world burn for.”

She never fails to serve a story that packs a punch! I loved Atlas and Rowdy’s story - even when I wanted to punch Rowdy in the throat for being such an a-hole, i was still rooting for him. Just something about him brings it out.
Then there was the twist - I had some idea of who was involved but it wasn’t until the end and still i did not see it coming the way that it did.
This age-gap office romance surprised me. The characters have colorful personalities. Rowdy and Atlas have similar attitudes, so the banter between them had my eyes glued to the pages.Spice was nice - my mans Rowdy was 10000/10

THIS IS THE MOST UNHINGED BOOK IVE EVER READ!!! … and i loved every single second of it. the plot had me so shook, i was holding my breath till the end. The MMC reallyyyy grew on me. I did NOT like that man… and i really was rooting for him in the end. wow. this was a GREAT read. VERY CRAZY THO FR LMAOOO I LOVED IT.
