How was this even more enjoyable than the book!?
There isn't much to say about this one because it pretty much follows the same exact plot as the original story, BUT the art was FANTASTIC. I'm not sure why I felt myself more invested in the graphic novel than the originally published novel, but I quickly devoured this. I'm particularly excited to see how many of these books they actually end up adapting. Right now it seems to be book for book, but that may end up slowing down considering the amount of books that exist in this series. Overall, I would say that if you loved or even just liked the first book then I would recommend picking this one up.

All. The. Nostalgia. A wonderfully done graphic to relive your time reading the books. I definitely recommend reading the books first.
This was a fast read. I homeschool my children and read this with my girls and the enjoyed it.

This year’s Christmas Eve book!
So happy to see that my favorite childhood series is being made into a graphic novel.

I’ve only ever read Enid Blyton’s version of the magic faraway tree so seeing this twist in that idea was really fun. Don’t be surprised if you see me reading the rest of these graphic novels this month!

What a great way to introduce younger readers to longer form stories! My 4 year old was riveted throughout this entire 150 page graphic novel.
I had to explain to him that because this book was so long, we would only read 1 book tonight rather than 4 (of his picture books). He was unsure but decided to give it a try.
I also loved the story and the visuals are incredible! Hopefully, Oliver will be down to continue the series even if they aren't all about dinosaurs!

A very basic introduction into the series, I didn't feel like a lot happened within the story.
It has been a long time since I have read an original Magic Tree House book, but from what I can remember, the books had illustrations as well as text. The characters in this graphic novel do not look exactly like the characters drawn in the original books, but they looked close enough that I could recognize Jack and Annie.
Jack and Annie discover a tree house walking home one day. They climb up into the tree house to discover it is full of books. Jack opens a book about dinosaurs, wishes he could be there, and suddenly the tree house transports them to the time of the dinosaurs. Jack and Annie meet a few friendly dinosaurs and one not so friendly. They then find the book for their hometown, wish they could go there, and find themselves back home. They agree not to tell anyone about the tree house because no one would believe them. #DinosaursBeforeDarkGraphicNovel #NetGalley
