Nice quick read, but not a lot of substance. Felt like something was missing, maybe character development or some slight conflict between the MCs, not sure. We didn't get any sort of closure on the cases mentioned through the book, which was disappointing. The romance was centre to the plot, yes, and it was sweet & spicy, but at least a small mention of the conclusion to the case which brought them together, would have been nice.

I enjoyed this but the writing was cringy at times and I wish there was less romance and more focuse on the serial killer and the case. The scene at the sex museum was the best

such a weak start to a series.

The synopsis promises a balance of plot and romance but this is just a book with two very horny protagonists who both have a job on the side. The emotions were weak, the sex scenes added no character insight despite how many there were, the plot was laughable.
