Siento que Grady Henrix no hace los tipos de libros que a mi me gustan.

Siento que son grotescos e incomodos, y entiendo que al ser un libro de terror debe sentirse así, pero hasta las situaciones que no suman nada las vuelve incomodas.

Solo he leído dos libros de esta autor y me basta con decir que no me gusta como describe a las protagonistas, me hace sentir ansiosa and I don't like that.

my favorite hendrix title thus far. everything about this book is everything i love in horror media i like to consume. the horror movie easter eggs, the badass women, the gore, the tension, the mystery.

had a very fun last 100 pages, but the 200 or so before are pretty slow and complicated. Enjoyed finishing it, probably wouldn’t read again, but was a good change of pace and was different than a lot of books I’ve read.

Final girls are doing it for themselves

Final girls have been having their moment in the sun lately. This is the third book I've read putting their own spin on the final girl troup .
This book did not play out the way i thought it would at any point really. I like being surprised so that's s good thing. I did guess a few of the twists but only right before they were revealed which is the perfect time to figure them out.
I don't know how i feel about the main character. I guess she was interesting enough. I didn't hate her but i didn't fall in love with her either. All in all she's was a decent narrator. This was s very fast read and i was never bored.
