it was okay. cute next door neighbor romance. gave me too hot to handle vibes because i questioned the authenticity and motivation of the characters. felt like a lot of their connection was purely based on lust and the desire for physical intimacy rather than personality.

Goodreads needs a DNF’d option. Nothing bad, just not the type of book I was looking for.

Finally Nora's story!! Anyone who has read the other books in the Dirty Martini Running Club Series has been waiting patiently for this one. The last thing Nora expected when she moved into her new home in the burbs was connection she instantly feels for her next door neighbor Dex. While he keeps his walls firmly in place, Nora has a chance to get closer to his 13 yo daughter Riley. But with close proximity comes sparks and with those sparks becomes flames. So when a misunderstanding happens and Dex walks away will Nora be left with a broken heart not only for Dex but for the bond she made with Riley? Or will happiness prevail? Once again Claire Kingsley grabs hold of the reader and does not let go. This book had everything a reader could hope for: a swoon worthy single dad, boundaries that get blurred, connections to last a lifetime and the steam factor is a nice added touch. Bravo Claire Kingsley - Bravo!!

The fourth and final book in the Dirty Martini Running Club is here and my girl Claire did not disappoint!!
Nora is the blissfully happy single woman who had her world turned upside down by her hot tattooed neighbor Dex. Dex was nothing like the clean cut suits she’d normally go for. But, there was an undeniable spark between these two even if Dex tried his hardest to deny it. That of course created the thick delicious tension that combusted in the hottest way!
I loved watching Nora bond with Riley, it was so sweet and made my heart smile. This single dad, opposites attract romance was filled with all the feels from swoony to steamy.
Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin were the perfect pair as Nora and Dex! They brought this delightful story to life.
