I have been a fan of Sawyer Bennett's for years and have read everything she's ever written. I'm especially a fan of her hockey books because I love falling in love with the team and then getting every player's story. When I heard she was starting a new hockey series I may have screamed a little or a lot. I remember how much I loved Alex from the Cold Fury and every man who came after him. Now, I get to start that love with Bishop and he did not disappoint! Add in that his team, the Arizona Vengeance, are in my home state and I was extra excited! Bishop is big, sexy and I pretty much love everything about him from his sexy long hair, to the tips of his skates. Bishop is checking out his new town when he sees a gorgeous woman who he wants to know better. Brooke is funny, sexy and wants to take him home. Yes, please. Their one night together is off the charts hot and he regrets not getting her last name and number. But when he sees her at work the next day and then gets caught groping her, by her father, his new coach, things get sticky very quickly. He's now dating and engaged to his one night stand. The daughter of his coach. How did this happen? How long to they have to pretend to be together? What happens when they are no longer pretending? I loved this story! Bishop is so sexy with his dirty mouth, his controlling nature and his protectiveness. I love how open he was with his feelings. He wasn't hiding how he started to stop pretending. He actually wanted to spend time with Brooke, outside of the bedroom. Brooke was hilarious! She was so cool and fun and I want to be friends with her. She was truly looking out for Bishop's career and she never got weird or clingy. She was perfect for him. She calmed him down and he listened to her. Overall, I laughed, teared up, had to fan myself and I want to go to a hockey game! Sawyer never fails me with her hockey players who actually play hockey! I love the action she adds to the romance. And I love this team! I can't wait for more from the Arizona Vengeance!

"Brooke. No matter what led us to this moment, right now I'm yours, and no one should touch what is yours."

"You're cute when you worry about me as a hockey player?"
"Sort of like how you're adorable when you assault men on my behalf."

Bishop is the first book in a new hockey series by Sawyer Bennett!
And wow, what a ‚comeback‘ with more hockey and a slight view back to the Cold Fury series... of you loved them, this is what you need to read!
Loved Brooke‘s and Bishop‘s story, and can’t wait for Blue and Erik‘s!

Mood Listening is totally a thing!
I tried this book when it first came out and I just wasn’t feeling it.
But I couldn’t get these characters out of my head so I thought I would give it another try and I am very glad I did because Bishop Scott captured my heart.

He and Brooke found themselves in a situation and its funny really when her father walks in on them and this elaborate scheme then becomes the storyline.

I loved how they never took each other too serious; they set rules and then broke em all. They made this book fun to listen to and fall in love with.

Even the wicked witch didn’t put a damper on how much I enjoyed these characters also there was little to no dramlama which if you know me is a deal breaker, I don’t like drama for the sake of it.
I can’t wait for other members of the team to get there HEA’s I will be keeping my eyes out for more.

LOVED the narration Lance Greenfield is one of my top 5 favorite male narrators of all time. Kirsten Leigh’s voice is smooth as silk and I love her tone.

I love a good hockey book!!

I was on the fence about how Sawyer Bennett could write hotter hockey than her first series but she’s done an amazing job with this one!! I loved this book from the beginning it is amazingly written and the characters play off each other very well.. my only complaint was it ended too quickly, maybe even a little abruptly.. but I know we won’t be disappointed with the series it’s already off to a great start.

Eye-roll. Cringe.

This storyline is SO GOOD reading as it unfolds as it’s twist after twist in the beginning!!! To keep it vague without giving anything away, Bishop and Brooke have both just relocated to Arizona. Bishop moved there because a new franchise hockey team, called the Arizona Vengeance, was formed and he was chosen as one of the players for this new team. Brooke just moved there for a new job and doesn’t know anyone yet. Both are at a bar where Bishop begins to hit on her…..and that’s the start to an epic plot!! It has little angst yet is also fascinating, charming and has twists along the way!! An must read hockey romance!

Really enjoyed all this book had to offer. I loved the banter between the characters and how hockey was actually involved! Cannot wait for the next book in the series!!!
