Bishop is the first book in the new Arizona Vengeance series by Sawyer Bennett.
Bishop Scott is a professional hockey player who is signed on to the new Vengeance team. The day before training camp he has a one night stand with Brooke. He never thought he would see her again after that night.
Brooke, who is also new to Arizona, decided to have a one night stand with Bishop and never expected to see him again, until he showed up in her office at the new Vengeance arena and her father caught them in an intimate situation.
Real one night stand, fake engagement, fake relationship turned real, one crazy psycho, many steamy scenes. This story is fantastic.
My one issue is that I felt it just ended, there wasn't closure to Brooke and Bishop, but since this is a series I am hoping we get more of them and their relationship in the future stories with Erik and Legend.

Hockey romances are the best and Sawyer Bennett is a queen. This is the first in the spinoff series from the Carolina Fury series Bennett wrote. Here we have another playboy hockey player who meets a woman, hooks up with her and then scandal ensues. This time the scandal is the woman is the coach's daughter. SCANDAL! What starts as a fake relationship to appease Daddy, grows into a warm and loving relationship, full of sexiness and actual friendship. Such a nice twist on the insta-love trope. Definitely a welcome addition to the hockey romance world.

** 5 Stars **
I'm a little obsessed with hockey romances at the moment and Sawyer Bennett's Arizona Vengeance series is just what I needed!
Bishop and Brooke hit it off right away and he is kicking himself for not getting her number when he had the chance. When fate puts Brooke in his path again, Bishop isn't looking a gift horse in the mouth and takes it as a sign to go for it! That is until their hot make-out session is interrupted by Brooke's father....and Bishop's new coach.
Brooke concocts a fake relationship in order to save Bishop's skin and to avoid rocking her father's emotional boat after the recent death of his beloved wife.
The evolution of Brooke and Bishop's relationship was done perfectly! I loved how their forced proximity and insane chemistry developed into something deeper.
I'm diving into the next books and am dying for Tacker to get an HEA! He breaks my heart.

Bishop is the first book in a new hockey series, Arizona Vengeance. The Arizona Vengeance is a new team created from the expansion draft and Bishop is the first player that we are going to get to know better. Bishop Scott was a member of the New York Vipers before being chosen by the Arizona Vengeance draft. Deciding to check out Phoenix prior to the season starting, Bishop heads out for a night on the town and some no-strings-attached fun with the beautiful woman that he meets at the bar. Shocked to find his one-night stand sitting in one of the offices at the Vengeance arena, Bishop and Brooke start to pick up where they left off when they are interrupted by Bishop’s new boss and Brooke’s father, the coach of the Vengeance. When Coach Perron confronts them about what is going on, Brooke blurts out that Bishop is her fiancé and so starts their fake relationship. While trying to keep Coach Perron happy, the fake relationship story straight and their lives in order, Bishop and Brooke realize that their relationship is becoming anything but fake.
Bishop is told in the dual point of view of both Bishop and Brooke and is a fast-paced fun and steamy read. Sawyer Bennett has upped her hockey romance game with the Arizona Vengeance series from the Cold Fury series. This series is sure to get better as the books come. There are many characters that are introduced in this novel and I am sure we will get a peek into their lives in this series. Overall I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to diving into the rest of the Arizona Vengeance novels.

A contrived premise, hardly interesting story development, zilch chemistry (where is the romance?), unlikeable hero and heroine. There was also a weird 5-minute monologue about the interior of a private charter plane.
Probably going to only read Tacker's story next. Nothing about this world has captured my interest. The other side characters were terribly annoying.

| OMG! This book is boring. Dragging and boring. I yawn many times and even falls asleep on some part of the audio book. The story is about fiancee of convenience. I was expecting the spotlight of the story will be on that convenience. But its not.
Its only focusing on a lot of sex between Bishop and Brooke. And the sex is luke warm. It drags on and on almost 80% of the book. The curve ball comes around 85% of this book with a stupid weak plot from the secondary character. It is so lame that I must rolled my eyes. The groveling part is also weak and almost done nothing to save the story.
I am familiar with miss Bennett story. I read some of her books on Carolina Cold Fury series. To me that series and this series is similar. Arizona Vengeance is just a bit longer.

Bishop and Brooke are to die for! I cannot get enough of them and the team! Sawyer always does hockey right!
I loved how this book is starting the new series off! There is the romance and the heat! My god, the heat! There is enough to melt the ice in the arena! There was drama in the best of ways. Also getting a glimpse into the other players and what we can look forward to in the next books!!!
Brooke is starting out in her new career in Arizona and decides to go out and meet a new co-worker and is stood-up. Bishop comes to the rescue when a guy gets a little too forward at the bar and they hit it off. And by hit it off, I mean burn up the pages with a steamy one night stand.
Bishop is getting ready to start the new season with the new franchise team, the Arizona Vengeance, and it hoping to make a great impact and play some killer hockey. He has high hopes for his new team and wants nothing more than to go after the cup!
The last thing either of them expected was to walk into work the next day and see each other again - Bishop as the player and Brooke as the "boss". Her father, the teams coach, walks in and finds them in a intimate embrace and Brooke flubs that they are dating... no, not just dating... but ENGAGED! Bishop decides to go along with it and they create this story of how they met and their fairy tale romance... much to others chagrin.
Once again, Sawyer delivers a story that is so much more!
