This was one of my favorite books of the series. It had a lot of twists and turns that I wasn't expecting.
Keep forgetting how fast the show moves compared to the books - but Cornwell's prose reads like a thriller. As addictive as ever.
It’s the 3 spinners who make our lives. They sit at the foot of Yggdrasil and there they have their jests. Fate cannot be cheated, it governs us, and we are all its slaves.

Revenge, politics, friendship, betrayal and a bit more revenge. Brilliantly written and characters you invest in. Wish I had discovered the series earlier, I’ve been missing out.
