A fantastic second story in this series. Alina has so much character development as she begins to accept her new reality. Her relationships with Lincoln, Andrei, and even Dracula grow more complicated as they battle each other for her attention. I love the dynamic between all of them. Great 2nd book in the series. Can't wait to see how the story concludes

I think I loved this book even more than the first one. We get to see Alina’s character grow in different ways. She starts to really question the beliefs that she was raised with, but we also see that the vampires aren’t entirely blameless for their history either.

This book picks up pretty much where book one left off, with one heck of a shock. There’s a lot of emotion packed into this story as well. Some happy, some heartbreaking, but all adding depth. New characters come in as well, and it’s fascinating to see how they affect Alina’s life and worldview.

The spice is fantastic, and this does leave on a hook, but not a completely brutal one. I’m very anxious to see what happens next!

Not feeling the villain at the moment and that aspect of the story. Was feeling the MMCs portion until that ending with Andrei so hopefully that resolves quickly…
fast-paced

Book two picks up right where the chaos left off—and I was immediately pulled back into the world of vampires, vengeance, and very complicated feelings. 🖤🩸

What to expect:
💘 Why-choose romance (MFMM)
⚔️ Vampire slayers & bloodlust
🎓 Dark academia secrets
🔥 Tension, betrayal & revenge
👀 A little more steam, a lot more drama

The pacing? Still quick and addictive. The romance? Getting messier in the best way. And the plot? Thickening. I loved how the stakes (literal and emotional) are higher, and we get even more insight into the guys—and their secrets. 😏

"Some monsters wear fangs. Others wear familiar faces."

This one’s a bit darker, a little twistier, and just as bingeable. If you loved the vibe of book one, you’ll be all in for this next chapter.

My review from book one stands here. Nothing has changed except we added one more adorable vampire king into the group. And he is by far the superior vampire in this rhombus.

“That’s fine, darling. I’m okay with being the villain in your story if it means ensuring you’re safe,” he whispered, making my heart twist. “If you think it’s wrong of me to use the power I’ve amassed to protect you, then I truly don’t want to be right, darling. I’m not going to stop.”
