These books are moving at a very fast pace.
I already started the 3rd one without tellin y’all because I finished this one really quick and the ending was so cliffhanger-y I needed to see things through, immediately. Just like the first book.
So.
I’m liking them.

... This feels more like an outline than anything with enough detail to be an actual book.

Am I invested in this series? Yes. Has anything actually happened? No. Genuinely, I do not understand how I just read 300 pages and everything took place in a week. Literally nothing at all happened, but I want to know what’s going to happen so I have to keep reading which is very annoying.

Bite of Betrayal was a fantastic addition to Alina's story. It was jam packed full of twists and a whole slew of emotions. Alina is diving deeper into the Vampire world and learning all the intricate details of who, what and why things are the way they are. She is finding strength in her harem and growing into a character who can take on anything. I'm excited to see what will happen next in this expansive world!

Better than the first, probs cos I’m not a fan of Lincoln but prefer drake and andrei
There’s really no mystery in these books though, like it’s been clear as day where this is all going from the very beginning
And the amount of this that could be solved with like 2 conversations is incredibly annoying
