Too much pink I guess?
I liked the drawing style most of the time but the main romantic interest was so out of place, I just couldn't bear it. She was obviously cute but her basic bitch look didn't go well with me. The drama between them was also a little bit cliche, those puppy eyes, hurt faces. Meech.
I am not really into a mystery of the series, and there are no distinctive characters that would keep me reading it so I am not going to continue.
It doesn't deserve a one star due to amazing differentiation between gangs which I loved

Motor Crush is a fast paced story, every single page is a race for the MC. And it's really a wonderful story, not only about a fascinating career (bike racing people !!!) but also about identity and family. Plus science fiction and beautiful art.

This book has so many things to love. Fast, snappy, writing. Diverse and interesting characters. A unique and captivating sci-fi world. Action and intrigue. Art that evokes a bubblegummy retro anime vibe, with plenty of emotion, excellent panel layout, and fun future-punk flourishes. I'm hooked and can't wait for volume 2!
I really enjoyed this comic. I got the recommendation from Book Riot’s LGBTQ Pride Comics and Graphic Novels list. This is about a queer badass woman motorcycle racer. There’s sci-fi, ass-kicking, racing and mystery. Such a great comic. I’ll definitely try to continue with this one.
