David Thorne makes me laugh. I like how he views the world. If I had to live with him, one of us would end up murdered in about 50 seconds but a continent away he's funny.

More like 4.5.
I know David Thorne won't disappoint me. It might have been a shock at first, reading the more mature version of his comedy. I expected more emails and random drawings, but this is better than just that.
I love conversations with Holly and that one part called 'Horsepower'. They made me believe that eventually you'll meet someone equal, someone who will appreciate your unusual humour and quirks... and vice versa. And neither of you would mind spending the rest of your life together.
Also parts about spending amazing time with Seb. He did it, touched those touchy topics in the most subtle yet funny and adventurous way.
Will definitely meet him at the corner for book signing if I could.

Laugh out loud funny. I am looking forward to the next book already.
Pretty funny book, somewhere between ''The Internet is a Playground, which was mostly jokes and e-mails'', and ''Look Evelyn, Duck Dynasty Wiper Blades, We Should Get Them'' which was mostly made of Thorne telling autobiographical stories with lot of sadness behind them.
Not as hilarious as his first book. It seems like Thorne calmed down a bit in the last few years. But he's getting better as a writer and a storyteller. I definitely recommend this to any fan of his.

Many laugh out loud moments, and a couple of read out loud (to my girlfriend while she prepared for work) sections. I've been following the author since it was just a website and am pleased to see how successful he's become.
Not quite as good as his last one, but still hilarious and absolutely worth buying.

Parts of this book really made me laugh out loud.
Unfortunately some parts made me really uncomfortable. Thorne has a tendency to be cruel and insulting about women who don't meet society's standards of slimness and beauty.
His humour is observational and exaggerated, which is why it's funny, but the way he talked about women in quite a few of the stories/essays was unnecessarily mean. He's insulting about men too, but not about their looks.
Not sure if I'll read more of his work - the laughter might be worth it. I do hope, however, that this isn't usual for his books.
Moderate: Body shaming
Worth buying for the stories on squirrels and the emails to the " photographer "
Honestly I have to give this 5 stars because it was so funny and so unique. I experienced a range of emotions. Such a creative writer. Would recommend
