I really enjoyed this cowboy romance and loved how it was set in Canada, which is something I didn’t expect.

The chemistry was great and I thought both characters had depth, especially when confronted with their personal issues that both helped the other examine.

This put me in my cowboy romance era. I absolutely loved following Summer and Rhett and their pining for one another. Seeing them try to act indifferent or nonchalant towards one another while internally wanting each other was so adorable. I loved the duality of their relationship with one another, how they were able to be jokeful and banter with one another yet have these beautifully vulnerable moments, had my heart exploding.

At her dad's agency, Summer's stuck "babysitting" Rhett Eaton, a rugged bull rider with a bad boy background who's gotten himself into trouble with his sponsors. Keeping it wholly professional when sparks are flying between them, and a one-bed situation, makes for a steamy romance.

A fun low-stakes contemporary romance that throws in a lot of single men for the rest of the series.

A big let down was the child predator plotline that was hurriedly rushed through, with Summer revealing she was victimised by her doctor into a relationship, even if they "waited until she was 18” 🤮 No resolution or justice, so it leaves a bitter taste.
