Liked it a lot. Sunshine's magic and the way the many stories intertwined was so fun. Didn't love Laura's arc and relationship with Freddy- felt a little incomplete and not completely fleshed out.

At first, I struggled to see the connection between the two storylines, though I found myself rooting for both couples. The short tales about the lost items initially felt overly creative and a bit distracting from the main plot. But once I reached the ending—and realized it tied everything back to the beginning—my perspective shifted. The brief stories, which once seemed random, gained meaning as they subtly built toward the final reveal. The mysterious biscuit tin, the ghost of the past wife, and the girl with Down syndrome and her uncanny intuition added layers that brought it all together in a surprisingly touching way.
