I kept putting it down and starting something else. Unable to hold my interest.

This book was a fantastic conclusion to the series. I loved how each brother came back in their own time to the mountain. How they began to heal those deep dark wounds. In this book it’s the youngest, Crew. He’s back for one day, his brothers wedding. That’s it, nothing more. Thankfully though something’s come up and he stays longer. In comes Raven. Sparks immediately start flying. The chemistry is off the charts. It’s just a fling right? Or is it? I loved seeing how Crew and Raven couldn’t stay away from each other. Towards the end I really loved how supportive Crew was with Raven and her dreams. How he helped make things happen.

I decided to read the only book in this series that sounded good to me, the 3rd one. Anddddd it was just okay. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either. I’m not interested in reading the first two since this one was the only one I thought I’d really enjoyed and I just thought it was okay, so why bother with the other two, right?

It was a good-ish romance but I didn’t fully care about the characters. I knew they’d get together at the end, obviously it’s a romance, but I didn’t really care if Crew (horrible name) or Raven (not a great name either but not as bad as River or Crew or Weston) competed in the games, I didn’t care if Crew made up with his dad (though just from this book, that dad was a jackass) and I didn’t care what happened with River either. He did deserve to be punched in the face multiple times though and I’m mad no one did it.

Overall this book was just meh.

Am I surprised that I fell in love with another Devney Perry book? Absolutely not. The writing and story will draw you in from the very beginning. I loved that this story reminded me of ski trips I took when I was younger, I have great memories going to the ski hill with my family.
Crew and Raven were fantastic together and I couldn't get enough of them. Throughout the story, they both worked through healing and forgiveness with their families and seeing them grow together was so sweet. I loved that Raven was also an athlete who got to chase and achieve her dreams and Crew was right beside her supporting and encouraging her the entire way. The epilogue & bonus epilogue were PERFECTION! I didn't want this story to end!
