A really good friend recommended this book to me and I am glad to have given it a chance.
No, this isn't normally what I read, but I was unaware that I needed a cheesy, romcom to break up some of the heavy topics I have been reading lately.
I really enjoyed how over-the-top the FMC was written. I know for others it can be too corny and annoying, but I rather liked it.

This was so good! You can kinda tell that she set out to write a mafia story, so while he isn’t, it still follows some common themes; so I feel like I may still put this in the cozy mafia category I love, (Roman was definitely cozy mafia). Probably my top read of the year. I just want to binge everything she’s written but that’s a problem bc I have other things I need to read

it was so corny and cheesy and funny and over the top, and I loved every second of it
