2.5 stars.
I just found Orlaith utterly childish and stupid, so much so that she got on my nerves. First she goes off and kills Rhordyn just because she was gaslighted by Cain.
Then she goes to the wall even when Rhordyn explicitly said not to. Then she confesses she killed Rhordyn to Cain even when Zali told her not to. The list just goes on and on.

2nd and 3rd books were kind of depressing compared to the breeze that first book was.

The fact that she's portrayed like this and there's hardly any romance I literally just had to skim read this book post 20% because it just lost its charm to me.
