What to say about this book if not that this was one Hell of a rollercoaster!
Picking right where we were left off with book 2, it continues the story of Orlaith, still offering us several points of views among which Baze and Zali.
The plot and the lore thickens to my great happiness and we get to see several questions answered and some pawns moved across the large board of the story. If I were to perhaps find a negative point to this book, it would be that part 1 and part 2 of it feel a bit distinct as in part 1 is more focused on orlaith's character development and the story and part 2 is more on the romance. Now, this being said, this didn't take away from this book being very enjoyable, as it was made pretty obvious by me devouring 300 pages of it in one afternoon.

I felt like I was in a Brothers Grimm dark fairytale. I haven’t felt this immersed in a world in a long time. This book, and series, is so dark and the subject matter is very heavy, but the beautiful and poetic writing made me feel so may emotions very deeply.

This series really doesn’t need to be this long, how are there still so many unanswered questions???
I’m going to need at LEAST three business days to just take in everything that has been this series so far. Just kinda wanna shout from the rooftops how good this is. Sigh* I really need that next book in my life!
