This series is becoming so special to me, and this book is my favorite yet! I loved the development of the romance and the plot twists! The author places a heart-wrenching focus on love through the toughest times and lowest points. These books have been the most well-done slow build and slow-burn that I have read in a while. This series has reignited my love for reading! (Definitely do recommend checking content warnings)

“Because I refuse to live in a world where you don’t exist.” 

This book was not my favorite in the series but I still enjoyed it. There were some moments that dragged for me and I really wanted Orlaith to pick herself up and stop self-sabotaging. But other than that, this was a solid read. Rhordyn and Orlaith are finally together and she gets to see who he truly is. And their moments together were oh so delicous and spicy. I love how they finally came together and are taking things on together. 

Everyone deserves a Rhordyn who will burn everything down for you!

I did truly enjoy this book, but I also found it incredibly frustrating! It's the sort of story where something always goes wrong, and I often find that deeply unsatisfying. It's as though everything is working against the main characters and nothing that they can do goes right. 

Still a very enjoyable read, and I'm definitely interested in continuing this story!
