I feel like this should have been better, its got all the ingredients bit just didn't come together into something really good. It probably didn't help that the male narrator sounded bored most of the time and his accent made the MMC's name (Fox) sound exactly like Fucks, which does somewhat lessen the impact of dramatic and emotional confrontations / love declaring.

It took me awhile to get into the pithy/ witty/ fast- paced dialogue, but ultimately the characters are hilarious and engaging. I also got the feeling this was a supernatural romance, but the characters are plain 'ol humans. 

Loved the representation of the neurodivergent and people with various abilities as not damaged goods sitting on the sidelines, but people worthy of love, redemption, and forgiveness.

So glad I found this book! Not only are the story and the characters addictive and well-developed, but the writing is well done and FUNNY! I laughed out loud several times and truly enjoyed reading this. The book flew by and I will definitely be thinking of Fox and Caty for a long time!
