A quick read. I enjoyed it. The writing was hit and miss for me. But i did like the story. Most things happen in the last 100 pages.

Definitely out of my comfort zone just because the amount of romance was a little too much for me but I really enjoyed the story line! I loved watching the characters develop and loved Xiomara’s powerful perspective! Definitely very interesting and powerful!

I am not surprised that I love this book. I wish I was better at writing so I could express just how much this meant to me.

Beautiful, real, and original. One of my favorite reads this year! Read on Spotify audiobooks.

Overall a thought-provoking book. I didn't like how the mother and the priest were portrayed as Catholics, but I know that is reality, as unfortunate and sad as it is. What caused my 3 star rating was putting sacrilege into a book for young adults as a way for teens to express rebellion. This really bothered me.

This book legit gave me chills. The poetry is stunning and powerful. The characters are lovable and hurting. The relationships are portrayed fantastically, and I sobbed at certain parts (especially the end).
