I'm really not a big fan of Oseman's novels. I absolutely adore the Heartstopper comics and the Netflix show. But I find Radio Silence and this book dull at best and quite cringe at worst. And not cringe in a charming Heartstopper way. Cringe in a Pretty Little Liars Season 7 sort of way. I also sorta felt this way while I was reading the Nick and Charlie novella, but reading this solidified to me that I just dislike her writing style. I will still read This Winter and the Heartstopper Yearbook though.
this book should have twice the hype it has.
it talks about loneliness and solitude, how hard it is to accept change and what it's like to have the pressure of half the world on your back.
not to mention the quotes, my God!
