I was going to take something insightful or practical from this book. I got neither and was just glad that it was short. I did skim some towards the end, so like a partial DNF, but I read enough that I'll count it.

Sehr gutes Buch bezüglich Sucht. Ich denke das Ganze ist auch sehr hilfreich in anderen Bereichen des Lebens. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Fantastic, one of those books everyone should read. The perfect mix of relatability, self help, and science.

About as expected on the topic of dopamine. What I liked is that it still made me think how to improve myself, even though I'm somewhat familiar with the topic. But I would've preferred if it were more scientific, with details about workings, and less anecdotal.

boooooring. probably a good experience for the author to sum up what she has learned though decades as an addiction advisor but honestly nothing worth really taking from the book

It’s a quick read but when even the author is admitting many of the studies cited are sketch/debunked/etc you have to wonder about the borderline studies she may have also included to make points that she wouldn’t have been called on as easily. Some good things to think about re:addiction but also a very very clear agenda
