Gosh how I loved daddy Damon! He totally stepped up to the plate when he found out about Adeline’s pregnancy. I loved how they worked hard to get to know each other, so they could be the best parents they could be to their baby. The tension between these two was off the charts, I couldn’t wait for them to succumb to it. I loved how open Adeline was once she told Damon about her pregnancy, his fame was out of her comfort zone, but she also knew that there wasn’t much she could do about it and didn’t hold it against him. The guys were so welcoming to Adeline, I loved how they embraced her and the baby.

Damon & Adeline.
Adeline is a middle school teacher. One summer day, she and her fellow teachers go into Chicago to watch a baseball game from "the bleachers". Damon sees her, finds her attractive, strikes up a conversation, and they go on to have a one-night stand.
Damon's a player, big time. He had one serious relationship when he was in high school, and the scars he has from how that ended have affected his entire life. He's determined never to let himself love another person like that again.
The one-night stand results in an unexpected pregnancy, and when Damon is finally made aware, he steps up. All the way up. He comes from a very wealthy family although his younger brother is a wild child and I'm not even sure why he's mentioned in the book unless there are or were plans to feature him in a different book at some point. His dad seems to be a rich prick but it turns out he's just being protective of Damon. Adeline's mother doesn't seem to like Damon at first either, but again, she's just protecting her daughter.
Damon as a parent was heartwarming. I love the facetime calls with his little one when he has to be out of town for games or training camp.
Cooper & Miles, along with Ellery and Bryce, are as intrusive as always, in that way that only the most loving of friends can get away with.
Damon has to come to terms with how he wants to live the rest of his life, and whether he wants to spend it alone, or if he's finally willing to let down his walls and love Adeline.
Good book. Fun series so far.

Love the way these books banter between the MMC and the FMC, gives me the actual giggles which is rare these days
Another fun outing for the football boys. Can't wait to see which one is up next!
Charming, sweet, loads of fun, and with plenty of spice! Something Like Lust is classic Piper Rayne slow burn adorableness- with a sassy heroine and playboy accidental dad learning not just to parent but to love each other. Lust may be the initial driver, but longing and connection really steer them as Adeline and Damon work through their unique and unexpected situation...and their undeniable attraction is more than just a one night stand turned coparenting. Damon has to prove himself to Adeline..and a bit to me. But I loved how PR developed his character. He's a man who has long since been on the quest for approval and acceptance, a journey that impacts his relationship with Adeline but also his orientation to fatherhood. But I loved how openly and earnestly he dives into his parenting role, and to his partnership with Adeline. She's a responsible, level-headed, and clever heroine, and I loved how she brought both curiosity and hesitancy to their dynamic. The chemistry is great, the banter is always top notch, and the teammate bromances always bring a lot of fun. I'm loving this series, and I'm looking forward to what's next with the Chicago Grizzlies. Another sweet and sassy love story from the amazing PR!
5/5 stars.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Another new favorite by this author. It was perfect and I enjoyed it so much, I was hooked to the story from moment one and I couldn't lay it down. I finished it within an evening and I was so sad when I was done. I fell in love with the characters, daddy Damon is everything you need in life. Adeline was such a strong heroine and I loved that about her. I also loved that the surprise pregnancy started later on, so we begin the book when she is already six months on the way and therefore we get lots of baby time as well! I absolutely adored that about this book!
It was great, I loved it so so much and I definitely recommend this.

3.8⭐️ cute! Am I into the pregnancy trope? No. But I liked this book. It’s short, sweet, and I love this group of friends!
I didn’t write a review for the first book in this series, but I know I liked it enough to immediately put a hold on the next two books.
Ok the thing I hated about this book, public declarations of love
