Taming him

Ugh listen… was the book good? Sorta. The first half in Key West was pretty solid but the second half in Texas was mediocre at best. It read like a Wattpad fic and didn’t entice me to read any of the rest of the series at all. I will say though River and Alex were like semi cute. But not my favorite read of the year.

Oh Alex Bishop. He's a heartbreaker and I fell for him almost immediately. These Bishop Brothers are something else. I thought this was a fun story and loved River right away. What could be more fun than a vacation romance? The chemistry was on point and the romance was great. I love how he handled everything and the second half of the book had me swooning almost more than the first. I can't wait for more of these cowboys!

I really wanted to love this book… but I just couldn’t . This book put me in a reading slump and not in a good way … I loved Courtney ❤️❤️so her little part in this book makes me happy but the story was just so boring and super easy …..
this is strictly my opinion, you may love this book! So I  say try it . You never know lol

This was a funny one to review as I can’t decide how I feel about it. I enjoyed the first half but the second half was unnecessarily long-winded.
I normally love accidental pregnancy so I’m a bit disappointed.

A rough and ready, drop-dead gorgeous Southern cowboy with so much charm and sex appeal? Yes please! This book was just what I needed - a no nonsense romance with a healthy dose of spice. Not to mention it helped scratch my cowboy itch.

Alex Bishop is not the relationship type. River has sworn off men. Both meet while on holiday in Key West and decide to make a deal... No strings, no expectations, no broken hearts. But they don't expect sparks to fly and burn so bright. The universe might just have another plan in store for this dynamic duo...

The first half of this book had me hooked with the undeniable attraction and the passion between River and Alex. But the second part dragged a bit for me except for that ending. I still really enjoyed the story and I love the fact that there are three more Bishop Brothers and a second generation for me to continue with.

Wordy but cute. The world building of both locations drained the beginning of the book as well as listing all the characters BUT it came around. Good small town romance story with some good spice.

Went downhill once they got home from vacation. It was like the HEA was more than 60% of the book. Didn’t hate it and the first 22% was great. It was just boring and predictable and with minimal conflict or storyline towards the end.
