You and Me on Vacation by Emily Henry

The sunrise was perfect, lighting the world with a golden hue that brought out the best in the landscape. The morning was cool, waking her after a late night out. She took a deep breath, taking the fresh air into her lungs, releasing it slowly back out. Today was going to be the day that changed everything.

People We Meet on Vacation follows Poppy and Alex, best friends who have vacationed once a year together for the past twelve years and have always had the best time exploring the world together. But their last trip didn’t go as planned and now they haven’t spoken in two years.

Emily Henry can do no wrong and once again she made me fall in love with her characters. I loved seeing Poppy and Alex’s relationship unfold and I really liked the flashbacks to their previous vacations mixed in with the current timeline. I think I need more friends to lovers stories in my life, because this one was a joy to read.

If you enjoy friends to lovers romances, forced proximity, and traveling… check out this book!

The only reason this is not a 5 star is because it took me a little bit to get into the story. It is a BEAUTIFUL story of finding someone to love you just the way you are 💚

So far an Emily Henry book is just never a miss for me and I don’t know how she dose it.
