4.5, this was so engaging to me which was surprising as i'm not a huge science fiction fan. anyways, i thought this was enthralling and a perfect short story: enough detail and depth to keep the reader engaged yet not overbearing to the point where it was difficult to follow along. can't wait to read more of her work.
