This was more of a departure from EH’s usual style, I feel, but I still liked it well enough. There was a lot of insta-love, and it got kind of hard to keep track of all the family members for a bit, but I liked the new format and the plot was interesting enough for me to finish.

I don’t know how Emily Henry does it! Even though you expect a romance to wrap up with a “happy ending,” she still manages to surprise me with a twist every time. Great Big Beautiful Life is a wonderful reminder that sometimes we don’t realize how extraordinary our own lives are until we learn to see them through a different lens.
