The premise of the book, flipping through Margaret’s life and then Hayden and Alice’s story, was such a page turner and often left me wanting to know more of the two plot lines. I loved the anticipation and tension between A and H, leading up to such a fantastic climactic moment. I also found that because they were framed at journalists, it made the observation of each other’s behaviors much more believable, and those moments where they catch each others lies just felt so healthy and real.

I thought you guys were exaggerating but that was pretty bad ngl

It's like a Book Lovers x The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo but so poorly written?? I felt like there wasn't enough build up to the romance so I wasn't really invested in them. And everything else in the plot fell short too ☹️ Ms.Henryy girl take your time with the next one pls

This felt much faster paced than other Emily Henry books in terms of the romance but i very much enjoyed the mystery and story aspect. I think this story was super sweet and definitely had good plot. I also loved the characters! Not much to say but it didn’t quite hit me in the feels as much as others did.
