This is a fun why a book to read I'll definitely be reading the rest in the series It's interesting to read it from the point of view of Brooklyn especially being a former mean girl myself
2.5 stars
The teenage male character in the book are not that great. Everyone tries to warn Brooklyn about Felix yet she still hangs out with him, and she see he is not a good influence when she gets grounded for his actions. He promised her Uncle that she would be home and curfew and wouldn't drink yet he pushed her to drink at the party. He even offers her drugs to help her feel better, if that doesn't send her running to the hills nothing will. She never stands up for herself either. She always says she going to give Felix a piece her mind yet she never does. She is always running to him because she doesn't want to be alone, even though she kissed Matt TWICE. Felix doesn't deserve someone who is not committed to him, no one does. Matt is not that great of a person either, yet every time he kisses her she always returns to him. She should be running in the other direction. Matt used her to Get Felix to stop selling drugs to James. He should have never asked her to get involved in the first place. He never even trusts Brooklyn with the secret Isabella has on him. He lies to her all the time to and tells her to not be with Felix anymore even though he knows that is one of her only friends in school, she only has TWO for crying out loud. He knows all of this yet still asks her not to be with him, even though he won't hang out with her in public areas. Brooklyn is not a very good person either. She never sticks to her decision, she lets herself be persuaded by teenage boys with kisses, instead of stick up for what she believes. Her mother just died she needs to heal herself and not be caught up in teenage drama. She needs time to grieve and accept her mother is gone. That is what I personally think about the book, but you should still read it yourself and see if your thought align with mine.

Brooklyn's life is upside down. She recently lost her mother and is now living with her uncle. Living in a new city and going to a new school. Trying to make friends is horrible, especially since she doesn't fit in. She has no money and now just one family member. This school is full of the elite. The richest of the rich and if you are not one of them then you are a nobody. Invisible.....
Is invisible really that bad? Well in the mood and situation she is in, invisible may just be what she needs. She is drowning and can't quite find herself anymore. Who is she really? I can tell you this...she is not happy. She is a lost soul searching for a light. The only light she can find is the hot guy named Matt, with his golden looks. Like an angel...but he is Untouchable. That is what they are called. The Hunter and Caldwell boys. Untouchables. Nobody can touch them and everybody wants them.
What better way to write a soul reaching book than with a lost soul in search of salvation. A love triangle of sorts. A soul that can be healed .... With each sweet thought. Each sweet kiss. Every first.
This book will shatter you and try to heal you at the same time. An ending that will be the biggest oh sh*t moment. A cliff hanger of sorts...it will have you hanging on too every word, chapter and page written.
The characters are beautiful and some not some beautiful. But Brooklyn is a wonderful person, a sweet soul and doesn't deserve all that happens to her. Matt is a great guy who is a closet nice person, who really needed to stand up for her more it almost makes you angry. Well maybe it just really makes you angry. Even her friend Kennedy makes you a bit mad at times.
Overall this book is a soul shattering read. I cried like a baby reading this and was so upset with the hands she was dealt. This book is hard to put down. I was definitely hanging on to every word. This book is full of deceit, drugs, romance, and loss. It is a roller coaster of emotions. So grab some tissues and settle in, because once you start you will stop till you are done.
Warning this is a teen type romance. It isn't exactly a dirty read, but it is not innocent either.
