This book was almost a DNF for me, only because I read a review that said it starts to make sense at the 70 page mark, did I continue to read it. Thank goodness I did! This was such a fantastic and in some ways heartbreaking book. I am obsessed with Piranesi’s character. The way he views the world as beautiful

despite the abuse he suffered

is so powerful.
