What a great book! I thoroughly enjoy Scalzi's writing style. Will Wheaton can read the audiobooks any day! Seriously a fun book.
Honestly just loved this book and audiobook. I can't recommend it enough.

Has a fresh and quick step in its plot with a smidgin of character revelation in the time development with too much lawyer-esque debating going on; for a writer, Scalzi is oddly in love with attorneys and the extreme bending of court etiquette to move the story along; what I do like is the unreliable nature of the narrator because it makes him that much more human.

Liked it enough but found the main character unlikeable.
This story is a wonderful reboot. I actually teared up by the end which rarely happens. (Because it was heartwarming, not because it was sad.) I highly recommend this, even if you don't usually read this genre.

I had read this decades ago and enjoyed it so much I had to track it down to read again.
A very fun read --- from what I recall, much faster and somewhat lighter in tone than the original ([b:Little Fuzzy|1440148|Little Fuzzy|H. Beam Piper|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348972417s/1440148.jpg|1876891]) . Scalzi does a good job of painting a protagonist who acts both selfishly and selflessly.
