It was hot - super hot in fact and it would have gotten a much higher rating if Deke hadn't been a little bitch the entire book. "Oh, this thing happened 12 years ago and I was gullible enough to believe it was all my fault...blah, blah, blah." I just wanted him to get the hell over it already. I kind of wish the trio would have worked out between them and Luc - who I'd invite over any day if he'd show me his wild side. And Kimber sure didn't think she was worth very much if she thought giving up her virginity to a whoring, drugged up, alcoholic was a sign of true love with Jesse (who was a pansy BTW). Sex was good, BUT ex-squeeze me if I say I think thinking you're pregnant and taking a test a few days after is just silly. The danger with the father could have been focused on more, but it seemed more like decorative parsley on a plate of mediocre food.

He’d taken missions all over the world, assassinating power hungry generals in third-world shit holes, extracting hostages from fanatical terrorists, diffusing bombs ticking away their last ten seconds.

Kimber frightened him much more.

My feelings are more invested in this book compared to the first one, the concept ménage was kinda new to me, (except the little insight from book one) and I had conflicted emotions and opinions with regards to the characters choices and decisions. Gladly, Ms. Black knows her way around in this kind of stuff. It didn't feel violating, in fact I loved the characters, Luc being the first in line. I appreciate Luc's character so much, he was charming and worthy of his own happy ending. I enjoyed Logan and Hunter's pole-like traits, which are both protective and scary but insanely hot. I can't wait to read each of their stories. Then there's Deke, an in depth understanding of his character since I read him in book one. Damaged and well deserved for a happy ending with Kimber, I was singing Coldplay's Fix You mentally since Deke's issue was stated. I am drawn with the emotional connection of the characters which is very impressive for an Adult Romance read. It takes a really good talent to focus the readers not just with the BS stuffs, but more with the emotional and romantic relationship of the characters. Well done!

I actually devoured this bad boy in less than a night.
It was actually amazing, but I expected nothing less than perfection from Shayla Black. I’ve been a fan for some time now and this was my second time reading this, and it felt like my first time all over again.

This author is everything I love about romance/erotica. She likes to push boundaries and she does it flawlessly.

She delivered an all consuming, intriguing and just down right HOT plot.

Those that know me know I love my erotica, especially with a bit of kink but also love more, and this was more. The angst, the drama, the suspense and even on my second round of reading this, i was flipping pages and pages, devouring each and every word. I was pulled in HARD.

And honesty? I loved Luc but he doesn’t even come close for the desire I felt for Deke reading this. I’m so jealous of Kimber.. uhhh Deke... *fans self*

It’s a must read!

5 stars!

This was a story that I deeply had a great time with and I am so happy that I was able to really read this one. I have been wanting to continue this series since reading "Wicked Lovers' I will say that this story was just different than book one and had a turnaround that I wasn't expecting which I have some mixed feelings over. I was really curious to see how this author would handle a menage and yes in some ways it's definitely not a menage but for the relationship side of things, it's a bit more complex than that. I really found the premise very interesting. I enjoyed the sassy personality of the heroine and our hero is such a brute at times haha He is a tortured hero so he comes with baggage and is having to deal with a woman that makes him feel deeper than anyone else ever has. I really enjoyed the sex scenes but I think the plot is what really intrigued me. The author brought different elements to this story to build upon the complexity of the relationship and the various backgrounds that each character has. I really found it fascinating to see. There is plenty of alpha male action though, from both the main characters and side characters, I was so amused by the heroine's brothers. I have a feeling they will have books in the future because I am so intrigued and they have some unique sexual backgrounds which was very interesting.

If you are a fan of menage and erotic romance and enjoy this author's writing style, then you definitely need to try this one out. I think you will have a solid good time!

In the second installment of Wicked Lovers, Decadent, we follow the menage trio of Deke, Luc, and Kimber.

With the arrival of Kimber to learn the ways of menage to please another man, it quickly becomes more to Deke and Luc.

Problem lies with a troublesome past of Deke's that he isn't able to have a woman all to himself. In my opinion, he is very whiny. For being such a strong man/bodyguard, his emotional capacity is nill. He becomes terrified of wanting Kimber all to himself because he's never been in any sort of relationship with a woman by himself before, but he doesn't want to share Kimber with anyone anymore. Including his best bud/cousin, Luc.

Emotions run high when Kimber and Deke both decide to split off from Luc, and poor Luc is still falling for the idea of what Kimber can represent.

I've never read a menage with this situation before. I'm sure it isn't completely out of the question but I can honestly say I didn't like that plot. All the menage books I've read have been solely about sharing. Never that one wanted out. Though I understand the reasoning and such, I was a bit let down by that twist.

I really love menage books. I love the understanding and feelings the groups have for one another, the love they have for one another, and fear of leaving someone out. Sadly, this just wasn't one of my favorites, but that's ok. It definitely won't stop me from continuing the series or from me reading more of Shayla Black. I love her work and I'm eager to complete this series!

Look. The sex is great. That’s all that’s good in the book. Everything else is unnecessarily stressful. And I hate all the chapters where she leaves to be with what’s his face. Like we definitely could’ve avoided that. Also like a pregnancy trope fake out? Not a fan. But. The sex. The sex is 5 stars, without a doubt.

Not as good ad Wicked Ties. A little all over the place at times and the pacing was slowish at the end. A lot of repetitive narrative.
