This was so good, I am obsessed with it. I loved every second of it! The whole series has been good, love the small town setting. And this one was on a sheep farm. I really love the trope of a one night stand and next thing you know you realize at some point you accidentally are dating. I kind of feel like I need to immediately start book 4 now because the set up for that is so good I’m not sure I can wait!
It seems Charlie Novak is once again back to cute, undramatic but not boring stories. I had my doubts after the second book in this series but this one's better in that regard. There is no over the top dramatic but there's still some "what if he doesn't love me back?" thoughts that at least take up more than one sentence without getting too over the top. There are also feels and lambs.
Sometimes you just need some sweet hot comfort, and so far the Heather Bay series has not disappointed. Posh Jamie and gruff farmer Will were an unusual pairing at first, but I loved watching Jamie realize that he really could be good at something other than wasting money!
If anything this was almost TOO low-angst, which I know is kind of the point, but still. I also wouldn't have minded the almost-kink becoming *real* because I know Charlie can do that! Still, it was a great addition to the series and I will obviously keep reading them, because, well, it's Charlie freaking Novak.
I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is the most feel good series I've read in ages and I'm loving every single character and story.
Will and Jamie fit together so well! I also liked how it was really emphasised that Will is much closer to Lane and Oliver than anyone else, and those two with their relationship pep talks were so cute.

Will and Jamie are easily my favorite book of this series. I loved their love story and how a rich playboy could flip into a humbled farmer not just for his partner but first and foremost for himself. I loved everything about this story. This is definitely a standalone in a series however I think I enjoyed it more because I read the previous books and saw Will in them.

This book didn’t have just the opposites attract trope, it was truly opposite worlds! I love this trope so much, and this book is a great example why I do. It was so good! I’ve loved Will since I got introduced to him in the previous books, and I’m so happy that he found his person!

Loved it !!! When a rich boy meets a farmer for a hot night that becomes more nights - just so cute.
Will has been working so much and dealing with so many issues to make sure that the family farm stays afloat, he’s stressed, tired but cannot resist the beautiful posh man offering him a drink and some release.
Jamie has always lived a life of leisure and parties, now he’s bored and pained to see that his life has no real meaning, time to leave London and to have an existential crisis somewhere else. He would have never thought that he would interested in lamb and farming, well mostly helping the hot farmer and succumbing to his charm.
A truly beautiful story, full of love, of acceptance. I really enjoyed seeing Jamie take his place in Will’s life and how Will let him in with open arms even if he was scared.
