SpoilerEverything about this is yuck. Who in their right mind would go back to someone who hung their first-time sex bloodied bedsheet up in the middle of the high school and called their girlfriend a whore??? She obviously has no idea what her father did to Aiden's dad (not even sure if he actually did it, felt like there was foreshadowing that it wasn't him) and yet, he decided to punish her for it regardless. The FMC was spineless and a Mary Sue - she didn't even ask why she was being forced into marriage... not for me, 1/5

This book had a lot of potential but fell very short of reaching it. The beginning was strong, but went downhill once the MCs got together. I wish there would have been a bit more back and forth between them. I think it would have benefited the story. I did end up skipping a lot of the sex scenes - mainly because I wanted to get on with the story and just finish the book.

Also, why didn’t Rose speak to her father more? We only got a glimpse of their relationship at the beginning, and then nothing from that. Did her dad know she was in an accident? Does he know she is with child?! And what happened to Noah? Poor guy must have been very confused at the cafe.

needs a male narrator

The storyline was another mafia romance… but the audio lacked depth and balance with it only being one narrator for all voices. Otherwise good story. Glad they got their HEA

It frustrated me through out the entire book, from “I hate you to I love you back to i can’t. I understand the sexual tension they both had and both deciding to give in cool. The ending could have been better I would like to have heard more about her pregnancy or telling there family the news. The epilogue could have told that instead of just them screwing on the kitchen counter.

Not the best, not the worst.

The plot was ok-ish until it started overflowing with sex scenes - like I got it, but come on, this again? It all felt super rushed and without enough context - she accepts pretty easily that she needs to marry him in order to save her father, but doesn't really ask herself what he did to get into this situation? she talks and talks and talks about the heartbreak, but she gets over it pretty easily once he gives her a half assed explanation and she doesn't even get to confront her father about it?

Meh.

If you're looking for a spicy book then this is a good one but if you'll ask me if this is a good book, I must say that it didn't reach my expectations. Both main leads is enslave of their libido and I hate that part where the girl was supposed to be mad and then later on forgets everything she promised to herself.

I was forcing myself to try and finish this one and then I realized I don’t HAVE to read it. The writing wasn’t horrible but the relationship was very surface level. I didn’t feel as if the two main characters had any chemistry whatsoever and the rest of the characters weren’t giving off any “mafia” vibes either. The plot was intriguing but the execution fell flat.
