Tbh I would not have picked up this book if it hadn’t won the Newbery but it was very good!

I will say this is one of those books that idk how often i’ll actually recommend it. Maybe for the kids who are reeeally into Magical Realism?
I’d love to hear opinions of actual kids on this one because i’m not sure i would have finished it when i was their age...
