Not as epic as I’d have wanted but heart wrenching all the same

A touching story about a granddaughter and her Halmoni. Magic, death, moving, friendship, siblings all covered beautifully.

i’ve started trying more middle grade books and this one did not disappoint. i loved the bits of magic, korean story-telling, and all the characters. i identified very much with the mc’s power of invisibility. i found this a very surprisingly wise take of processing change + grief + how you fit into your world.
