It had me hooked at the beginning, but I was hoping this book would span over more of the characters' lives. The depth didn't hit for me and the ending felt too easy.

I have no idea how to start this. I really wanted to love this book.
The main characters were maybe somewhere a little likeable, mainly frustrating. Their growth was slow and sometimes non existent. It was a depressing story with a sort of hopeful outcome.
The thing that annoyed me the most is the way dialogue was written, no indication on what was dialogue and what was a thought or memory.
All in all I read it rather quickly and there was something there, just not for me.
