I watched Chuck years ago but didn’t know much about Zachary. A friend recommended the audiobook so I wanted to try, even though I have trouble focusing on audio. It was ok, I wasn’t invested in the man so it didn’t resonate much with me.

I haven't shut up about this book since I read it in 2022. The way he reflects on empathy and the reasons people do the things they do actually helped shape how I view people and my life. I reflect on things I recall from his writing frequently and I'm always recommending this book to people.

I'm a huge fan of Zach, and I'm incredibly grateful that he's gotten the help and treatment that he needs to start his healing journey. He writes with unflinching honesty about mental health and generational trauma. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook in his own voice. He is incredibly insightful, and i didn't expect to find applications and take-aways for my own mental health journey, but I did. The most important was his observation that fixing something is different than healing. I have to sit with that for a bit. Thanks, Zach.

I actually really loved that he shared this when he did so that it wasn't a linear journey of healing, but an acknowledgement that while you can hugely improve, healing journeys never really end.

Real, honest, hilarious. A candid examination of mental health, trauma, and spirituality. A quick read to inspire radical love of yourself and others.

Excellent and encouraging book detailing Zachary's mental health journey.

I wasn’t planning for this to be my “holiday” book but I spent an afternoon stroll through central Amsterdam accompanied by Zachary’s voice enlightening me on all the ways I truly knew nothing about him.

All I knew was he voiced Flynn in one of my favorite movies of all time, ‘Tangled’, and I briefly crushed on his character on ‘The Marvelous Mrs Maisel’ that one season. I suppose that’s the point, everyone has a story, everyone has been through it.

I don’t rate memoirs but this was a quick read and very well-written. I’m glad he and his sisters are doing better.

Levi writes from a very raw and personal reflection on his life’s journey along with his struggles with his mental health. Brilliantly written, I was drawn in by his honesty which helped me look at my similar experiences with both.

I Love Zachary Levi! He has al lays seemed to be just himself. Of course a huge fan of chuck. It breaks my heart all he has gone through. Yet I identified so much with so much of it. I’m grateful for this book.

I listened to the audio version of this book, read by the author. It was definitely surprising/shocking to hear about all of the horrible experiences he's had, which you never would expect to learn about from his public persona. The harsh reality and honesty held my attention to the end. Definitely agree with the importance of talking about mental health and seeking help with healing.
