I decently enjoyed this book. I enjoyed how I had no idea who to trust the whole book. I had my detective cap on but was not solving this mystery. I do not blame Bel for the way she reacted to Rachel as the circumstances are surreal. The reveal at the end!! BEAUTIFUL. It did make my rating of the book higher. I will continue to read Holly Jackson’s books.

this book was so good thought it was going to be a 5 star but the ending was a little bit hard to follow it’s still very good
I struggled finding an audio and came across this one so I thought I’d give it ago on audio, I ended up really enjoying it, was very easy to follow, I enjoyed the family dynamic and slowly seeing the cracks start to appear. Ngl I really didn’t like Rachel for a good portion of the book, but I felt like it made sense to the story. I actually didn’t guess how the story was going to play out but I like that as it keeps me guessing. I won’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who may potentionally read but I definitely recommend if you enjoy YA books, that are easy to follow.
