This was cute, but parallel time jump romances are not really my thing! I thought it was well done, but still just not really my thing.

Catherine and Jasper:

There's not really a happily ever after here. There is closure to this story, but not really that much closure. We're just supposed to believe that Jasper has totally revolutionized how he thinks about the situation and let his anger go. Doesn't feel very satisfying.

Chloe and Zack:

I found the ending of their love story to be more in the HEA lane and more satisfying, but the middle was totally lacking. And I hated the story like of Zack hiding what he did from Chloe.

Idk if I just wasn’t in the right headspace to read this but it felt a lot more uneasy and almost psychological with this whole ‘60s mystery than lighthearted. Love how the characters are so complex and real, which is definitely why i rated this higher than I would have
