A disappointing, but steadfastly realistic ending.

I loved everything about this book! This is a book lovers dream come true. Has a very adorable love story and a bit of mystery. It even makes a reference to The Lonely Hearts Book Club which is another amazing book by Lucy Gilmore. If you need a feel good read, pick this up right now!!!

Catherine and Jasper’s early love story was so stinkin’ cute… the rest of the book, not so much.

I love Chloe and her siblings, they were so entertaining and I was here for the alternating chapters between Chloe and the cutest 1960 love story. However, once the author switched it up to other characters’ POVs in part two, NOTHING HAPPENED. The pacing felt so off and there was no real resolution.

Elderly Catherine was not the same character from the 60s and I’m still so angry at her. She caused all this drama and fuss but wrote it all off as ā€œbest for everyone.ā€

I can’t stand when the entire plot hangs on one characterā€˜a stupid dramatics.

I LOVED this book! It was different yet the same! (I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s it) I loved the different timelines. I loved the different view points. I just loved this book. It truly brought joy to my reading world!
