Standard Heather Graham fare. Nothing too exciting, and a little predictable but not bad. Easily digestible if your looking for some quick and simple. I was a good "after work and I'm feeling brain dead read". Little effort required but was still interesting enough to keep going and finish.

A little slower at the outset than others, but still a great read. A lot of moving parts and characters to keep track of but what an ending. Great build up and exciting to see Jane's story. I also love how new Krewes come to fruition. Since there are upwards of almost 30 books in this series, it obviously is a big hit, mainly because she does introduce those new Krewes with exciting new characters who get their own stories. Keep them coming.

I missed the rest of Jane's crew in this one. While I enjoyed it, I much prefer the whole crew investigating.

Sloan & Jane are a good match though, and the story was very engaging. I really wasn't sure who the whodunnit was until the actual reveal, which was kind of nice. I usually have that figured out early on.

I really enjoy this series. Looking forward to reading the next one.

Good mystery with a ghostly presence and all that but it’s very difficult to connect with the characters. As such, I was not sold on the romance aspect either. I thought the narrator did a great job switching voices to keep you fully engaged in the story but I was so annoyed by the macho tones he opted for when it came to the main male character. I’m thinking of skipping to the newer installments.

Thanks Netgalley for a great book to read and review

Wow what a ghost story! Loved it. The small town of Lily was once a silver mining town during the years of the big gold rush. An unsolved missing person mystery is one of the big highlights of the old theater in Lily, Arizona called the Gilded Lily. A skull is found and FBI members of the team Krewe are sent in. Jane and Sloan have an instant chemistry which fuels the book, not to mention the rich history of the town, and the town folk. I thought the book had a great story, great characters and just enough suspense to keep you guessing until the end. Four huge stars of entertainment!

Great story for the series. The start of the third Krewe is here. Very entertaining and easy to read story line.

I wasn’t crazy about this one at first: lots of names and history being thrown out. BUT it really grew on me. Sloan was the perfect ultra manly man old west sheriff and Luke Daniels did a great job with him. I had absolutely NO idea what was going on right up until the end, and it was genuinely spooky and twisty. A great addition to the series!
