Cute book, my kids really liked it. I didn't like how it glamorized illiteracy and bad behavior simply by saying she didn't know any better.

As magical as I remembered. A delight.

**also read with Isaac. Needed a few edits but he thought some parts were absolutely hilarious and deemed it five stars.

DID NOT FINISH

It was the end of the school year before I finished it.

So witty and fun. It was my dream as a child after watching the movie to wash my floor like Pippi does, and I have yet to do it - I think I'll go get my scrubbing brushes.

Update: read most of this aloud and have now done the modern Pippi-ing of floors with Clorox wipes.

Fun book for reading aloud. My 3yo, 8yo and I all enjoyed it.

Good, but the idea of Pippi Longstocking is perhaps a bit more powerful than Pippi on the page. Funny how that happens.
