Changed perspectives way too frequently without any specifications abt which character was narrating. It was honestly really confusing to follow along, so I didn't even know what was happening most of the time.

Rekommenderas varmt!

This book was interesting. The pseudo-documentary style was interesting. The entire story is told through interviews with the characters involved...except for the one who's no longer alive. The unique mechanism of rapidly switching from one character to another can be confusing at first, but it also propels the narrative forward in a unique fashion.

I found this confusing. The narrator changed frequently with little clear identification. Not recommending this.

I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is an interesting concept of a novel, a compulsive read that will leave you wanting more. It examines the life of Samuel, through the eyes (and voices) of those who are left behind after his death. It uses first person throughout, with no explanations of who is speaking. I expected to be confused by this, but it is really well done, and I did not have any issues with this. The accounts are often on different timetables, but this also just adds to the story. As it unfolds, it's like a train hurtling down the track, heading towards its doom and you can't take your eyes off of it. Highly recommended.

DNF. Life is too short to spend it reading this book.

I loved this book. I found myself wanting to know more about Samuel and the people who inhabited his life. It was fascinating to hear the conflicting ways people viewed different events from Samuel's life.
