I listened to this as an audiobook and it was just lovely! I think it’s my favorite of the series, mostly because they got to be happy and also because a lot of things were wrapped up in nice ways. Now if only we could get a full length book about characters from Fangirl! Or any other romantic situation from Rainbow really…

I really don't think I could finish this book after the 50 pages of emotional angst that really could have been summed up in three or 5. It takes about 150 pages for the plot to get going and, even though I was at that point, I really don't think I have the patience for another ~400 pages of a series that I think really fizzled out in the previous installment. Carry On was a great read, but I think these follow ups really have a problem in dragging things out to the nth degree. Sorry no satisfying conclusion for me.

Omg wow. This book was the perfect ending to the trilogy. I went into this disliking agatha and feeling indifferent towards many of the characters and came out of it loving her, loving them all. It warmed my heart to see agatha finding purpose with the goats. I ship her and niamh so hard.
I loved Shepard and penny so much and am DYING for a novella on the two (those scenes with the demon engagement were brilliant) I could read 1000 more pages about them.
And of course simon and baz were wonderful. I loved that baz made peace with his aunt and simon finally found his family. I loved their happy ending.
